This individual cottage is only 3 mins drive from the noted 'Woodenbridge Hotel' which is the oldest hotel in Ireland, est. 1608 and overlooks the amazing 'Woodenbridge Golf Club' in the 'Vale of Avoca'. It has a welcoming open fire, newly refurbished shower room and toilet and a patio area perfect for dining al fresco style. A wonderful retreat, less than 2 miles from the village of Avoca where the series of Ballykissangel was filmed and just 6 miles from Arklow town. This cottage makes a superb touring base, central to the majority of Wicklow's tourist attractions, there are endless possibilities from here.

~ The shower room is newly renovated in 2018 and spacious.
~ Whilst Wi-Fi isn't available at the property, there is very good mobile coverage and you can use your phone as a "hotspot" to connect to the internet and laptop.
Avoca Village (1.75 miles) is where the BBC TV Series 'Ballykissangel' was filmed and it's also the home of 'Avoca Handweavers". It includes a Craft and Gift Shop, Visitor Centre, Cafe and tours of their 'Weaving Mill' which dates back to the year 1723. Well worth a visit! The village also has Fitzgerald's Pub, Henley's Grocers and a Pharmacy.
