~Aughrim, a beautiful, picturesque town also known as 'The Granite Village' due to the numbers of buildings constructed from locally quarried granite, nestles in a picturesque valley where the Ow and Derry rivers meet to form the Aughrim River. There are numerous shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes to be enjoyed.
~There are countless walks in the immediate area. From the Sean Linehan Walk and The Pure Mile to the more adventurous Wicklow Way and Lugnaquilla.
~River fishing: The Aughrim river, which runs by the property, is probably the best stocked trout river in the country.
~Aughrim Lawn Bowling Club is also only a short walk away.
