In the garden there are football goal posts. The storage shed contains badminton nets and racquets, footballs, doll's pram, buckets and spades and body boards making this paradise for children.
The patio which looks towards the sea has sun loungers, patio furniture and the all important BBQ.
Ballyconnigar beach is popular in Summer with swimming, picnicking and waling its golden miles the main attractions.
Curracloe Beach, a Blue Flag beach, is backed by extensive soft dunes, is 4 miles along the coast road. A great Italian restaurant "Da Paolo", with kiddies playground along the way.
The area is teaming with wildlife. Wexford Wildfowl Reserve and slob lands are nearby and free to visit. The Raven Nature Reserve at Curracloe is a beautiful forested area to walk.
Historic Wexford - this Viking town has charming narrow, crooked streets, lots of shopping, craft shops and a host of great restaurants. Visit the Wexford Opera House (home of the world renowned Wexford Opera Festival) or enjoy morning coffee it its Sky view cafe and enjoy views over the town. The local theatre scene is always lively. Wexford is on the train line.
Enniscorthy is a similarly historic town with a Castle open to visitors. The castle is home to the county museum.
Hook Head and Hook Lighthouse and Heritage Centre are spectacular and well worth a visit. It is thought to be on of the world's oldest operational lighthouses. (Lonely Planet has named Hook lighthouse as the No. 1 flashiest in the world*by hook or by crook*)Stop off in Carne on the way back and enjoy delicious sea food in "The Lobster Pot"
Kilmore Quay is an active fishing port and leisure marina. Thatched cottages line the streets. Kilmore Quay has a reputation as an angling centre and water activities are available in this area.
For garden lovers, a visit to the spectacular Altamount Gardens in Bunclody (currently free to visit) is not to be missed while the hill climbers in the group tackle nearby Mount Leinster!
