Situated five miles from Tallow, ten miles from Lismore and thirteen miles from Youghal. This delightful annexe is attached to the owners home and offers bright living spaces, free WiFi for guests and a beautiful large garden which is shared with the owner to enjoy. A small decked area gives a wonderful space for al fresco dining or to relax on an evening overlooking the garden, surrounding countryside and mountains. The local woodland is a two minute walk away and is home to deer, rabbits, hares and some birds of prey. Close to the Cork border, it is less than an hours' drive to the city and is ideally located for touring the South and East.

Tallow is a small town on the Cork/ Waterford border. There are two restaurants, three pubs, a small handful of shops including Centra and Spar, a pharmacy, a post office and a hardware store. It has a very good Chinese takeaway (not open Tuesdays.)
Lismore is a larger town with ten shops including a Centra, a butchers, a pharmacy, four pubs, four restaurants, three cafes and two banks. Outdoor activities here include boating, canoeing and beautiful nature walks along the banks of Blackwater River.
Youghal is a large seaside town with a wide variety of shops, pubs and retaurants. There are large supermarkets such as Tesco and Lidl, a post office and three banks. There are also two beautiful sandy beaches in Youghal!
Dungarvan is twenty miles away and is a historical harbour town with a lovely bustling atmosphere, and an attractive square. There are many activities, shops places to visit, and things to do. Dungarvan is the start of the Waterford Greenway, a 46 km off road cycling, and walking trail. Golf, pitch and putt, fishing and adventure water sports are other things to do.
~ Tallow hosts an annual horse fair which was founded in 1910 and takes place at the beginning of September each year.
~ The Ramp Boreen Walk in Tallow is a scenic, 5km walk fom one end of the town to the other. Perfect for a lovely, easy stroll.
~ Lismore Castle has been the Irish home to the Dukes of Devonshire since 1753 and is the most spectacular castle. Whilst the castle is not open to the general public, the Castle Gardens are and they are set across 7 acres of beautiful landscape.
~ Youghal Golf Club offers a challenging 18-holes and is open to visitors.
~ The Cork Jazz Festival is held annually in October in the City. It attracts hundreds of musicians and thousands of fans to experience the wonderful music each year since 1978.
~ Fota Wildlife Park in Cork offers a fantastic day out for everyone. Home to a huge variety of animals from monkeys to lions, meerkats to rhinos!
