It is open plan and spacious inside with free Wi-Fi and Sky TV. Park up and stroll into the town which is steeped in history and visit one of the best perserved Irish castles or explore further afiled and catch the train to Dublin Limerick or Cork. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Galtee mountains for hiking and biking and the River Suir for angling.

Cahir has six restaurants including Indian, Chinese and Italian. There are nine pubs, a hotel and a handful of shops including Aldi supermarket. There is also a bank, train station, leisure centre and tourist information centre.
~ Cahir Castle was Once the stronghold of the powerful Butler family. It is one of Ireland's largest and best preserved castles situated on a rocky island on the River Suir. The castle's attractions include an excellent audio-visual show which informs visitors about the castle. Many famous films have been made in and around this castle, including Excalibur.
~ The River Suir is renowned for its game angling, holding both salmon and brown trout. The season runs from 17th March to 30th September inclusive. Beginners and experienced fishing enthusiasts are sure to enjoy many happy hours of fruitful fishing along its banks.
~ Suir Valley Outdoors is an exciting new adventure activity centre based in Cahir, on the banks of the river Suir. They run a diverse range of activities to suit explorers of all ages and abilities including river trips, kayaking courses, and hill walking.

~ Located at the Castle Carpark in Cahir, County Tipperary, Cahir Farmers Market hosts stallholders specialising in vegetarian goodies, fresh baked bread and savoury bread, meat stalls, apple farm stall with seasonal fruits, juices, cider vinegar and cheese. Most stalls are sold out completed within two hours so visitors are recommended to get there early. The market takes place every Saturday from 09:00-13:00.
