Enjoy horse riding and golf or Explore Sligo Folk Park, Riverstown, the Sligo Abbey and Lissadell House which are all nearby.

Lough Arrow is one of the outstanding brown trout fisheries in Ireland. It is famous for the quality of its trout with fish ranging from 1lb to 6lb. The season runs from the 1st April to 30th September and is free of charge.

Each year the Riverstown village hosts the James Morrison Traditional Music Festival during August. This Festival has been running for 18 years and brings the best traditional musicians to this small village in rural county Sligo. Each year the festival pays tribute to musicians living or dead, who have made a significant contribution to traditional music. Concerts, lectures, workshops and great music sessions in the local bars.
Another great event would be the Riverstown Vintage Festival during June.
