~ Visit the ruins at Kilturra, (7 miles), a fascinating historic site including a holy well.
~ Caves at Kesh, Ballymote, a lovely short walk passing a series of limestone caves located on the side of the mountain.
~ Tubbercurry Golf Course - This picturesque 9-hole parkland golf course at Tubbercurry is a 6,200yd course and has full clubhouse facilities.
~ Lough Arrow is one of the outstanding brown trout fisheries in Ireland. It is famous for the quality of its trout with fish ranging from 1lb to 6lb. The season runs from the 1st April to 30th September and is free of charge.
~ Lough Key Forest Park (12 miles), ideal for a day trip with Tree Canopy Walk, 19th Century Servant Tunnels, Moylurg Tower, Boda Borg, Lakeside Cafe, Gift Shop, Adventure Play Kingdom, Forest and Parkland Trails, Bog Gardens, Lakeside Walks and 19th Century Bridges.
