In the heart of Curry village it's just a short walk to the nearest shop, pub and restaurant; two of which are directly across the road! The village also has a children's play area and the hotel nearby serves food daily from around 8am - 8pm. The larger towns of Sligo, Ballina and Castlebar are only a short drive away making for an ideal base for exploring the North West of Ireland. You can catch a bus from just outside Curry on the N71 as far as Galway and Derry.

~ The door leads out on the main road through the village. It isn't overly busy but care must be taken.
Curry has a shop, pub, hotel which serves food and a church. There are two buses - 64 which goes to Derry and Galway and 66 which goes to Enniskillen and Westport.
Charlestown has five shops including Spar, four restaurants, five bars, a pharmac, a Bank of Ireland, a post office, a cafe and a library.
Swinford has a few independent shops, a Eurospar, four restaurants, five bars, two pharmacies and two banks.
~ Charlestown holds a Farmers Market every Thursday with a wide selection of home-baked breads, cakes, fresh and local produce.
~ Swinford Golf Club is a 9-hole course with a variety of testing putts. Visitors are welcome and you can hire equipment and buggy's onsite.
~ River Moy is only 7km away and fishing season runs from February through September. The river is famous for salmon and sea trout fishing and runs around 100km through Mayo and Sligo.
~ Gillighan's World in Tubbercurry offers beautiful botanical gardens, a spiritual faerie land and other onsite facilities. There is a tea room, gift shop, free parking, toilets and pets are welcome. They have an information kiosk with maps of the local area and other things to do whilst you're there.
