This traditional cottage is located 3 miles from Curry village, 4 miles from Tubbercurry, 25 miles from Sligo town. Originally built in 1850 the cottage has been lovingly restored with a spacious open plan living areas with a warm oil fired aga style stove and 2 adults and 1 child's bicycle available. Based on an organic farm where you can pick your own blackcurrants, blackberries and wild strawberries or feed the sheep by hand. There is also 1km of a woodland walk to be enjoyed on site.

South Sligo Walking Festival is set in the beautiful Lough Talt and Lough Easkey area of South Sligo and the Ox Mountains. The South Sligo Walking Festival event takes place over the May Bank Holiday Weekend and is a must for walkers. It has become one of the main walking events of the year in Sligo and attracts hill walkers from far afield.
Lough Talt The lake area is also known for its bird life and flora. The Lake is a good source of trout averaging 250g. Arctic char are also reported to be still present in the deeper waters of the lake. This is the perfect location to take in the scenery of South Sligo and beautiful walks.
