~ Lough O'Flynn is just North of Ballinlough and is renowed for its Mayfly season between May and July. The lough is very well stocked with trout for the keen angler to catch. You do need a permit to fish and these can be purchased online.
~ Ballyhaunis Golf Club is a challenging 9-hole parkland course located 2 miles north of Ballyhaunis town.
~ Graune Pet Farm and Play Centre is located in Ballyhaunis and is a great day out for the kids! It is a 14 acre farm with a variety of animals to view and petting areas, also boasting indoor bouncing castles and toddler area.
~ The Miners Way in Boyle, is a unique heritage trail following many of the paths used by miners going to work in the Arigna Mines, where mining was carried out for over 400 years.
