A grass single lane track leads to this charming renovated cottage in a rural countryside setting four miles from Lahardaun, five miles from Crossmolina and twelve miles from Ballina. Surrounded by green fields with the Nephin Mountain on your doorstep. Comfortably furnished with a traditional, farmhouse feel, a cosy woodburning stove in the lounge and open fire pit in the back garden. There is no TV or internet access and a car is essential being a ten minute drive to the nearest town of Crossmolina. Definitely a break away from it all.

Lahardaun is a small village with a pub, a grocery shop, a post office and a petrol station. It is also home to the Titanic Memorial Gardens and Sculptures. The local pub hosts traditional music nights at weekends and dancing.
Crossmolina is a small town with three bars, a cafe, a restaurant, Londis and Centra mini-supermarkets, an ATM, a post office, a library, a butchers, a chinese takeaway and two pharmacies.
Ballina is a larger town with numerous shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. There is a cinema, butchers and pharmacy, AIB and Ulster banks as well as 10+ petrol stations and a number of taxi ranks available 7 days a week. It is also home to the Ancient Woodland and Castle with a 6 mile woodland walk to enjoy.
~ Sea fishing and daily boat trips leave from Killala bay (Sun seeker Boat Trips) and river fishing trips are available from Crossmolina and Ballina. There are also various bays to fish from in the area including Lough Conn which is on your doorstep. Boats can be hired from various places including Deel River and Pontoon Bay.
~ Visit Ireland's official Titanic Village in nearby Lahardane . Find out about the "Addergoole fourteen", the 14 individuals from the area who travelled on the ill-fated Titanic in 1912. Visit the Addergoole Memorial Park in the village.
