This cottage is located to the rear of the owners residence, a quarter of a mile from Bonniconlon village and 6 miles from Ballina, Mayo's largest town. Private and secluded it is comfortably furnished, facing the Ox Mountains with distant views of Lough Brohly. A children's playground with extensive gardens secure with an electric gated entrance. There are swings and slides, a sand pit, and even a nine hole putting green in the garden for your enjoyment. Locally there is fishing on the famous River Moy, walking trails in the Western and Foxford Way and six 18 hole golf courses in the area. The coastal seaside resort of Enniscrone is 10 miles.

Ballina, home of the famous River Moy, is Mayo's largest town. There is a rich variety of pubs, restaurants and nightclubs in the town, supermarkets, pharmacies and a bank.
Among Ballina's key visitor attractions are the ruins of Moyne Abbey, and Rosserk Friary dating back to the 15th century and the impressive St Muredach's Cathedral stands imposingly on the banks of the River Moy.
The River Moy is internationally acknowledged as an exceptional salmon fishery, producing several thousand salmon to the rod annually. The famous Ridge Pool, the salmon anglers paradise, is located in the heart of the town.
Each year in July, Ballina ignites into a frenzy of activity with its annual Festival. A week long feast of free entertainment for the entire family - music, song, theatre, art, heritage, culture and novelty events. Bonniconlon Agricultural Show: Annual show, the largest Agricultural Show west of the River Shannon, first established in 1949 and is held on the August bank holiday weekend. A traditional family day out, with competitions and other events.
