Situated on the grounds of the owners residence 3 miles from the village of Collon, 6 miles from the historic town of Drogheda and 40 miles from Dublin city. This quirky lodge is set beyond an electric gated entrance and is rustic and full of character. The lodge enjoys open plan living with double patio doors to the mature garden and for those cosy evenings in there is a woodburning stove. A rather steep spiral staircase leads to the twin mezzanine bedroom. The ruins of Monasterboice one of Ireland's monastic sites outdoor is nearby as is a Go karting circuit and numerous golf courses. Nearby Fantasia Waterpark is great for all ages!

Collon is a small village with 2 shops, a village grocery store, 2 restaurants, 2 pubs and a credit union. There is a bus line from Collon to Drogheda and Dublin.
Drogehda is an ancient town with an array of shops including Scotch Hall Shopping Centre, many supermarkets including Aldi, Tesco and Dunnes, a large variety of restaurants and bars, a post office, many pharmacies, many ATM machines and banks.
