We've got great holiday cottages ideally placed for fishing, touring and walking through this lovely county. From the shores of Lough Derg in the north, right through to Tipperary itself, the Rock of Cashel and Clonmel - wonderfully varied. County Tipperary is a lovely prosperous farming county with superb fertile soil. The song It's a long way to Tipperary was written in 1912 as a marching song (don't tell anyone here that the word Tipperary was only chosen for its 4 syllables and interesting name!). It's a great place for walkers, cyclists and anglers alike. The Rock of Cashel is not to be missed as it's one of the most spectacular archaeological sites in Ireland - a mighty 12th century chapel on top of a huge lump of limestone projecting high out of the surrounding grassy plains. So if you need a holiday cottage or a self catering holiday home in Tipperary suitable for your family just see if one fits the bill on the map (many are dog friendly).
