This delightful cottage is located on the grounds of the owners home at the foot of the Galtee mountains only a short stroll from Galbally village. It is tastefully finished and furnished, with access to a large decking area, which is shared with the owner, overlooking a splendid garden. The area offers a wide range of activities from horse riding to shooting, golfing, fishing to mountain hiking and quad biking. The Ballyhoura way boasts spectacular scenery and is a popular walking route.

Sorry no pets.
Property is normally made up of 1 double and 1 twin room (ziplock beds) unless otherwise requested.
The less active can take advantage of a spacious decking, which is shared with the property next door, to sit and enjoy the fabulous views of the mountains which form the backdrop to this property, or can take a short wander to the ruined Abbey at the end of the village, or enjoy the village pubs or tea at the cafe.
The spectacular Glen of Aherlow is a little further on, offering unequalled views over the mountain range, and leading to a range of lakes which can be located by following the signs posted.
There are a number of walking festivals taking place, in May and June Bank Holidays locally, and others from various village locations throughout the year. There are a range of loop walks to choose from, depending on how active you are, and local guides available to provide a safe and enjoyable walking experience for the beginner or group, unfamiliar with the area.

For great days out, there are a number of castles to visit in ancient towns, shopping to do in the cities, and plenty of places, both old and new, to explore and enjoy, for all ages.
