Anglers will require a license to fish in the nearby lakes. This can be purchased from the local tackle shop in Waterville. Those wishing to fish on the lake can hire boats locally.
The lively town of Cahersiveen is around 10 miles from the house, and being on the Ring of Kerry route the delights of Killarney, Kenmare and Killorglin are all easily accessible.
Take a sea fishing trip or a boat to the Skellig Islands, once back ashore why not enjoy a wonderful taste of the west coast of Ireland at one of the many seafood restaurants Waterville has to offer.
The property has the most astounding views from its elevated site and sitting out is a real pleasure. Located in a quiet, peaceful and relaxed area there really is something for everyone.
Waterville town, famous for its links with Charlie Chaplin, has a craft market, Police station, petrol station and Centra supermarket. For more shops and provisions take a drive to nearby Cahersiveen.
