A walkers paradice with the Beara Way nearby and Gleninchaquin Park. Peace and tranquility assured in this wonderfully restored cottage with wooden beams, exposed stone walls and wood burning stove. Broadband is available at EUR15 euro per week. Locally there is fishing, golf, horse riding and sailing including a cruise trip. The lively town of Kenmare is 11 miles.

The gravel track is steep up to the property and cattle roam the surrounding fields.. The fencing surrounding the property is aged so animals may cross the boundaries.
~ There is a private fishing lake just yards from the property and The Lake House Bar and Restaurant in Tuosist provides boat hire at a cost of EUR25 per day.

The charming market town of Kenmare is 11 miles away renowned for its lively pubs, seafood restaurants and craft shops and boasts two 18 hole golf courses as well as 2 championship courses nearby. Set high on the hillside, it enjoys commanding views of the lakes and mountains and is a great base for exploring the Beara Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. Guided walking tours can be organised in Kenmare which takes in the surrounding countryside and mountains. The Healy Pass, sub-tropical gardens at Dereen House and Gleninchaquin, Seafari Boat trips, Iveragh Peninsula, Ring of Kerry, Beara Peninsula and Killarney famed for its lake and National Park all make for great day trips.
