Kenmare is a small town with a handful of independent shops, a variety of pubs and restaurants and two banks. There are many craft shops, coffee shops and galleries to explore too.
- Kenmare Bay Diving is a scuba diving school offering snorkeling and guided scuba trips for all abilities. They also offer boat trips enabling you to explore Kenmare Bay with it's beautiful scenery and sea life.
- There are many cycle routes from Kenmare to places such as Borlan, Bonane, Kilgarvan and other circuits like Healy Pass and Molls Gap.
- There are two scenic drives in which Kenmare is including. The Ring of Beara route is an 80km and 128km drive depending on which route is taken. The Ring of Kerry route is a 110 mile drive which takes you around the Iveragh Peninsula.
