This cottage is on the grounds of the owners' working cattle farm located 5 miles from Inch Beach, 6 miles from Castlemaine village and 13 miles from Killorglin town. It is cosy and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and open plan lounge/diner with wood burning stove. Here you can relax and enjoy rural scenery and life on a working farm. It is an ideal touring base for the Dingle peninsula and Ring of Kerry. Dingle beach offers kitesurfing and boardsurfing instruction whilst Killorglin and Killarney have a few challenging golf courses. There is the acquadome in Tralee, theatre and cinema for those rainy days.

~ There is a farm at the rear of the property (cattle and sheep) and a main road nearby so caution must be taken with children.
0.25 miles away is Benson's Quick Pick Shop. Inch, 5 miles away has a restaurant and bar.
Castlemaine is, 6 miles away with shop, pub, bar and restaurants. Traditional music is held at Foleys Bar every Sunday.
Killorglin, 13 miles away, has a wide selection of shops including an Aldi, pubs, restaurants, pubs/bars, a fishery, a pharmacy and banks.
~ The Blue Flag Inch Beach, 5 miles away, is the perfect place with an easy gradient and plenty of space providing a safe environment for all types of water sports including Surfing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Kite Surfing, Hangliding and Fishing.
~ Kingdom Waves Surf School, 5 miles away, runs surf lessons at both Inch and Banna Beach's in County Kerry, two long sandy 'Blue Flag' beaches surrounded by the Kerry Mountains. They also have surfboard and wetsuit rental/hire at both beaches.
~ Puck Fair; Killorglin is the venue for one of Irelands most unusual street festivals. The fair is one of Irelands oldest and longest celebrated and is held every year on 10th, 11th and 12th August offering hours of free family street entertainment.
~ Killorglin Golf Club, 13 miles away, is an 18 hole, Par 72 Parkland course. The course consists of four par fives, four par threes and 10 par fours. It is overlooked by two mountain ranges, the MacGillicuddy Reeks and Slieve Mish. In turn, the course overlooks Castlemaine Harbour and the River Laune. Green Fees can be accessed by booking online.
