The unusual setting of this property makes it perfect for the family get together or for groups wishing to set off on a tour of the Ring of Kerry, start with the liberator Daniel O 'Connell's house in Caherdaniel, with many historic artifacts on display, Derrynane National Historic Park offers a wealth of woodland gardens and the popular Derrynane Beach with its white sandy beach is a must for outdoor relaxation. The hustle and bustle of country town life at its best, can be experienced in Sneem only 7 miles away and Kenmare a wealth of tiny craft and tourist shops are attractively set and are perfect for the browser or the buyer. Kenmare also hosts various festivals and fairs throughout the year, the Annual Horse Festival in June, and in October and December, a local food festival where you can experience the delights of the town's fare.
Watersports, from sailing to surfing, fishing and swimming are all close by at the beautiful extensive sandy beach at Derrynane and Glenbeg Beach (also known as Carrolls Cove has its own beach bar and restaurant and sandy beach. This is a lovely base for touring from set on the main Ring Of Kerry route and has wonderous sights all around for exploring and taking home many memories.
The area surrounding has so many attractions it is worth a visit anytime of the year and is especially enticing because of its location which is placed with easy access to all that Kerry has to offer in landscape, hospitality and beauty.
