Caherdaniel is a charming village with a shop, pub and restaurant and is surrounded by beautiful beaches.
Kenmare is a small town less than an hours' drive away with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, large supermarkets including Aldi and Lidl, a pharmacy, a Bank of Ireland and a Golf Club.
~ The blue flag beach at Derrynane has fine golden sand and rock pools. An ideal location for walkers with the Kerry Way route passing close by which offers spectacular sea and mountain views.
~ Skellig Island Tours depart from Bealtra Pier (3 miles away) and offer two types of tours to get you up close to Skellig Michael and the small Skelligs to enjoy the historical sites and vast wildlife.
~ Derrynane House and Derrynane National Historic Park offer an insight in to the family home and mature gardens of Daniel O'Connell. The sites are typically open from March to November.
