Around an hours drive with take you to the heart of Limerick or to the coastline of Dingle to explore the scenic countryside or breathtaking seas.

Astee only has a post office, all other amenities require travel.
Ballylongford village has a Centra, three bars, a restaurant and a post office.
Ballybunion village has four shops, a Supervalu, four bars, a variety of restaurants, a Bank of Ireland, a Credit Union, a cafe and a golf club.
Listowel town has a large variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a theatre and much to offer everyone in the area.
~ Carrigafoyle Castle stands on the edge of Shannon estuary on what was originally an island. This 15th century castle has historical interiors to explore.
~ Ballybunion Golf Club has been open over 125 years and welcomes visitors with two courses to test your skill. Buggies and club hire are available on site.
~ The Tintean Theatre, Arts and Cultural Centre is based in Ballybunion. They tour nationally and internationally with Irish Dance productions. The theatre also has a cinema facility, art exhibition, literary bookshop, bar and coffee dock
~The Garden of Europe in Listowel opened in 1995. It contains more than 3,000 trees and shrubs and is divided into 12 sections, representing the 12 members of the European Union at the time of the project's commencement.
