Situated in Coumduff village, 2 miles from Anascaul. This charming old famine cottage with patio entrance is attached to the owner's house. Built in the 1700's, it has a wonderful cottage feel with exposed stonework, a wood burning stove, comfy furnishings and free Wi-Fi. One bedroom is accessed through a low door (approx. 5ft) which requires bending to access. The cottage is unsuitable for small children due to an open stream and the furnishings inside. The owners are keen gardeners, with free range hens so seasonable vegetables and fresh eggs are available for sale.

~ Please be mindful that one of the bedrooms doors in the property are of low height (around 5ft) and will require bending to access. The other bedroom is along a balcony walkway.

Annascaul has several tradtional pubs and places to eat, including the South Pole Inn which is dedicated to the Antartic explorer Tom Crean. Ashe's is the local supermarket and is open seven days a week.

Oceanworld Aquarium is situated in Dingle town 10 miles from Annascaul and hosts Ireland's largest collection of Sharks as well as our Gentoo Penguin display, Sandtiger Sharks, Amazonian Displays, Touch Tank, 9m Underwater Tunnel, Otters, Crocodiles and gift and coffee shop.
Vist Funghi the wild Bottlenose Dolphin on a Dingle boat tour or hire a wetsuit and take the early morning trip to get up close and personal with Fungie.
Killarney 30 miles away has the highest mountain range in Ireland, rising to a height of over 1000 metres. At the foot of these mountains nestle the world famous lakes of Killarney and Killarney National Park.
