Roundstone (2.5 miles) is a popular tourist resort renowned among artists and naturalists for its remarkable beauty of surrounding mountains and seascapes. Roundstone is home to a busy harbour where local fishermen prepare and return with their daily catch. Boasting a good selection of Bars and Seafood Restaurants many of which serve locally caught seafood as well as some fantastic craft shops and cafes.
Connemara National Park (23 miles) - The Visitor Centre is open daily from March to October from 9.00 am until 5.30 pm. The Park Grounds are open all year round and admission is Free.
