The house has been fully restored and renovated to a tasteful standard with antique furnishings. A lot of the original features are preserved to retain the grandeur of yesterday yet provide for todays modern living with all ensuite bedrooms. There is direct access to the lake for fishing and within walking distance is Ireland's only onshore lighthouse, Ballycurrin Lighthouse, a few meters walk from the house. There are 2 cottages to the rear of the house which are long term let.

Headford is a typical small Irish market town with a number of shops, cafes and pubs where food is served.
Cong which is home of the Quite Man is a quaint village with shops, traditional pubs and gourmet restaurants.
Ashford Castle (8 miles) is set in 350 acres, on the picturesque shores of Lough Corrib.
Lought Corrib - with direct access to the lake from this property there is plenty of opportunities for fishing both from the shore or on the lake. There are a number of local gillets that will be happy to escort you on the lake.
