It's the ideal place to explore the heart of Ireland and boasts of incredible scenery and a tranquil environment. The holiday cottage is the perfect retreat from a hectic lifestyle. Visitors can also visit our working farm, meet the animals and learn about their needs. During your stay we also offer lessons in jam and bread making from our farm kitchen. This holiday cottage is only 40 minutes away from the vibrant and arty city of Galway and 1.5 hours away from the bustling city of Dublin, 1.5 hours from Knock, Shannon and Dublin Airport.

On a working farm with many animals including cattle, sheep, horses, goats, ducks and many more. Depending on the time of year, there may be lambs, kittens or chicks to feed! You are welcome to visit the owners on the farm at any time to have a look around.
The wood burning stove, has a starter pack of turf and timber will be waiting for you on arrival along with homemade brown bread or scones, homemade jam prepared from fruit from the garden. Butter, tea, coffee and sugar are all included in your welcome pack.
Being in the heart of Ireland, it is a great touring base to explore the tranquility of the midlands -- its Raths, Ring-forts and many medieval sites -- or travel to the 'Four Corners of Ireland' within a few hours.
The Bunowen River which flows through the farm, is popular for trout fishing river.
There is an indoor equestrian centre, kayaking and a number of golf courses all within easy reach.
Boat trips on the Shannon are popular in the summer months.
While you are here, you can learn to make our brown bread, feed the farm animals, try out making ceramic pieces or take part in growing vegetables in the kitchen garden. Or, if nothing else, just to relax and calm your mind and body.
