Banbridge is a large town with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are large supermarkets such as Lidl and Tesco, pharmacies, banks, parks, a cinema and much more to enjoy.
~ There are many lakes in the area making it the perfect place for fishermen. Licenses, equipment and bait are all available in Banbridge and you can purchase day tickets and hire boats to access the lakes. Corbet Lough is particulary popular.
~ Banbridge Tourist Office opens 10am - 4:30pm Monday to Saturday and can suggest much to do in the area for all ages and abilities.
~ Banbridge Golf Club is an 18-hole course set in the countryside on the outskirts on Banbridge Town. Visitors of all abilties are welcome and green fees can be found online. There is an onsite bar and restaurant.
~ The Mourne Mountains offer 28 peaks to explore through County Down. You can drive the stunning coastal route, hike through the trails or take the cycle loop. Whichever you prefer, exploring the mountains is a must during your visit to Northern Ireland.
