~ Narin and Portnoo Beach; Narin is a Blue Flag beach along the Wild Atlantic Way. It is set in a cove and with the welcome protection of Dunmore Head. The beach is within a designated natural heritage area, exhibiting a highly diverse range of both coastal and terrestrial habitats. During the bathing season, which runs from June until the end of August, the beach is attended by a lifeguard. There are toilet facilities nearby and ample parking is also available.
