Situated 3 miles from Lettermacaward, 6 miles from Dungloe and 10 miles from Glenties. This is one of two holiday homes sharing the same grounds. The adjacent cottage property 16826 sleeps 4. Inside is compact and modern but well furnished and very comfortable with free wifi. The double room is an ensuite shower only, the toilet is next to the kitchen and a double sofa bed is provided in the living area. Some utilities such as a washing machine and microwave are not provided but there is a laundrette in town. The local beach 5 miles offers surfing lessons and day trips include Slieve League and Glenveagh National Park.

Lettermacaward is a small village with two shops, three pubs and a restaurant. Gweebarra Pub serves food and Elliots Bar hosts traditional music nights every Friday.
Dungloe is a large town in Donegal and you will find everything you could need here including traditional bars, a selection of pubs, restaurants and shops including Aldi and Lidl. Dungloe also has a post office, several banks and a pharmacy.
Glenties is a large village with a handful of shops including Costcutter, three restaurants, two cafes, many bars, a post office, a Bank of Ireland and Highlands Hotel.
~ Gweebarra River is perfect for anglers with twenty miles worth of river to fish. Permits are required and these can be purchased in Doochary. The river is popular for Salmon and Sea Trout fron April to September.
~ Wild Atlantic Surf School is based at Dooey Beach in Dungloe. They offer surf lessons for individuals and groups as well as Kids Camps during the holidays.
