Lettermacaward is a small village with two shops, three pubs and a restaurant. Gweebarra Pub serves food and Elliots Bar hosts traditional music nights every Friday.
Glenties is a large village with a handful of shops including Costcutter, three restaurants, two cafes, many bars, a post office, a Bank of Ireland and Highlands Hotel.
Dungloe is a large town in Donegal and you will find everything you could need here including traditional bars, the Daniel O'Donnell Museum and the beautiful Waterfront Hotel.
~ Packie's Bar in Corr, just five minutes walk from the property, has been voted in the Top 20 Best Pubs in Ireland for a pint in The Guardian 2019! Leave the car and stroll down for great craic and drink.
~ Gweebarra River is perfect for anglers with twenty miles worth of river to fish. Permits are required and these can be purchased in Doochary. The river is popular for Salmon and Sea Trout fron April to September.
