They are over 300 years old and have been lovingly restored and tastefully furnished retaining many traditional features such as the vaulted ceiling and half door. A small stream runs to the side of the house. Enjoy complete relaxation before you embark on a day of exploring, walking in the Derryveagh Hills, climbing Mount Errigal or taking a boat trip around Slieve League. Lettermacaward - 3.8 miles away is home to two pubs, a local convenience stop and shop, post office, petrol surgery and doctors surgery. Elliotts Local Traditional Irish bar offers free WiFi and traditional Irish Music every Friday night. Gweebarra Bar serves hot food throughout the day.
Dungloe, 5 miles, is home to number of supermarkets and convenience stores including Aldi and Lidl,2 bars, a selected of pubs/restaurants serving food, a cafe and a Chinese and Indian Restaurants. There are also several banks including AIB, a pharmacy and post office.
