We have many dog friendly self catering holiday cottages throughout Ireland that welcome one or more pets.

Across is a list by region to make it easy for you when looking for somewhere to take your family and your dog - an important member of the family!  Indeed he travels and stays for FREE.

Don't leave your 'best friend' at home or in expensive boarding kennels. Most of us hate the idea of leaving pets behind or at the kennels. Some dogs, will grieve for the entire holiday and sulk for days when you return. Just take them with you!

Visiting a pet friendly cottage in Ireland can be a perfect holiday for both you and your pet.

We have over 680 dog friendly holiday cottages on our website. Some are situated close to superb dog friendly beaches, cliff walks, woods or fields so you'll have plenty of new places to walk and explore together.

Many cottage owners who welcome pets will have experience of keeping pets themselves. They may even have additional facilities for them. Often they will be able to advise you about the best local places to walk your dog and of a suitable vet in case of emergency.

Dogs are generally used to travelling in cars and can be taken on holiday without too much bother. Just make sure they have enough drinking water and you make enough stops for your pet.

Do give some thought to your destination (there should be plenty to do for you and your dog). Keep them well exercised and don't simply go off leaving them for lengthy periods while you visit local attractions.
