We intentially chose this great location to be close to Ballinspittle and Kilbrittain. The views were a pleasant extra. The hosts Jim and Kathleen were delightful. The space was open concept which suits us well. The gardens were an added bonus.

Marz Party, May 2019
The studio is in a perfect place on a hill overlooking the beautiful landscape and the sea. The owners gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful and friendly at all occasions. The nearby beach of Garretstown, the Old Head, Kinsale and other points of interest closeby. The studio is well equipped and cosy. We loved our little home up here.
Knill Party, September 2018
We were greeted by the warm and friendly owners with a very welcome cup of tea, who live next door and are there on hand if you need anything. The studio is spacious and beautifully cared for, plus very well equipped. There were welcome essentials in the fridge. As it is located on top of the hill the views were lovely from both the front and back. It is best to have a car here as there are so many interesting and historic places to visit nearby. Kinsale itself is utterly charming but can be busy. We were there the first week of September so it had quitened down and so very enjoyable. The Charles Fort was a really interesting visit, walking distance from Kinsale along the scenic Scilly walkway. The furthest we went was Cobh where all the emigrants, convicts and the last people to board the Titanic left from. Quite an emotive place. We really do recommend this place and thank the owners for their warm hospitality.

If you like quiet and space around you, but not too far from the town, this is a great place. It's a beautiful one bedroom studio with fabulous views and lots of space. Perfect for a couple and maybe one child. Very convenient location for going in to Kinsale or Cork. We easily explored all the way down to Baltimore and back in one day. I want to go back right now.

Always wanted to visit Ireland and I think that the place we chose was just perfect - quiet with long lazy days and do what we liked. Travelled around, visited local palces, restaurants etc. It rained a bit but you can never change the weather. The countryside is beautiful and ideal for walking and cycling.
