We have just spent a week at the cottage and it was a week of bliss. People were very friendly and the accommodation is centrally located. The house we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need on a family holiday with young children! Like a home away from home, the owners were very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the cottage.

There is a shared tennis court, children's play area and boats to use on the lough all free of charge. The property is a 5-10 minute drive down quiet lanes and through beautiful areas of County Mayo from the town of Ballinrobe. We had a great stay and the property owners are lovely.

Mr and Mrs Savage, April 2016
We stayed at the property in April this year and wow wheat a week. It all started with an amazing welcome from the property owner. The property was spotless and very well equipped, if you are looking for something extra or a little out of the ordinary just mention it to the owner and it will appear the next day. We fished on the lake which was right outside the gate with views that changed each minute of the day.

The Fishers, January 2016
We had a great time at the cottage. I visited with my family and what a holiday we had, we fished on the lake which was literally on our doorstep and caught a few trout which were beautiful to eat! We played tennis on the free onsite tennis court and we even had a BBQ. We rarely left the area around the property, going for long walks and cycles on the quiet roads around Cahir. The house we had was well equipped and spacious, a real home away from home and the property owner was there to answer any of our questions not to mention the welcome we received made a great start to the holiday. We will be back!

The owner was very friendly, brilliant open plan loving area. Three huge bedrooms. Superb enclosed garden for our dog. Beautiful part of country.

What a beautiful area. There is all sorts to do, but we didn't do anything too energetic. We are pensioners. We went fishing which was nice. Pat Cohan's pub 5 miles away is a good place to eat. The film 'The Quick Man' was filmed at this pub and surrounding area.

Mr and Mrs Hewitt, June 2007
Lovely base for our holiday, everything we needed for a great time and memorable holiday!
