Bostjan, August 2017
Peaceful and safe place, with very friendly hosts. Appropriate for all who would like to make trips round West Ireland.

The Darcy Family, June 2017
This is an isolated property in a quiet location. A great place to unwind.

Beasley family, March 2017
This property is a very welcoming home, it is off the beaten track but easy to find with instructions provided by owner. For jus it was in a central base so within reach of local village but also within short journey to najor towns (car needed at all times) The property owners welcomed us and could not do enough to heklp us. Whilst we were there we also had the joy of seeing a calf only an hour old and watching it with its mother in a field attached to the cottage. The people are all very friendly, if you are looking for a homely cottage this would be for you. Would totally recommend to any of my friends and family.

The Lock Family, August 2016
Great stay, very friendly owners, good location for places we wanted to visit.

Sharon Pinney, August 2016

The Luesken Party, May 2015
" Wonderful warm welcome by very hospitableeople"
The cottage is cosy and everything is there. A house situated in the open space of Ireland. The owners are very hospitable and live next door. The cottage has all the necessary facilities - twice. The wood / peat stove was highly appreciated, given the climate. Mini-markets are within walking distance in Killimor . We took our car and there are beautiful routes to drive in the area.

A charming little cottage in a quiet rural location, but very handy for the village. You'll get the warmest of welcomes from the owners and enjoy the craic in the local pubs.

Nice place-we would take out the furnishings in the living room and just have settees and chairs.

The Goold Family, May 2012
Very peaceful. Farm animals around but not in the way. Not too far from shops and places of interest. Very pleasant and helpful owner.

The cottage was perfect, a beautiful location, very quiet which was perfect for our relaxing break. If you want a quiet cottage away from everything, this is the one to pick. The 26" flat screen TV was the icing on the cake!

Mr and Mrs Hallam, September 2011
This was our third visit to this property. Great location - the owners are great and have become very good friends of ours.

Sam, October 2010
Fantastic and more than we hoped for. One day we saw deer, otter and red squirrel all in the space of a few hours. We walked, fished for trout (didn't catch much but setting made up for it) sat outside taking in day or night sky - with a cup of tea, glass of wine, viewed sites with binoculars from windows. Loved the peace and quiet and the wonderful scenery. We saw some wildlife and the National Parks are great for bikes or walking. You need to be prepared to self cater as in September, it is hard to find a pub which serves dinner every night. They are also expensive, this was no detrement to our holiday at all.

John and Di, October 2010
Thank you very much for letting us stay in your cottage once again, and for making our holiday such an enjoyable one.

Have known and lived in the area over a period of twenty years. Went boating on Lough Derg, Nenagh, Birr, Banagher, Cloufort. Paddy's Bar in Terryglass and O'Mearas in Portumna are great pubs.

We both just want to say a very big thank you for all you have done for us over the last 2 weeks. You have made us feel very welcome. The location of your cottage is an ideal base for sightseeing. The walks along the quite roads are very peaceful and relaxing. We realise there is still so much more to see and do round this area, we have decided we want to return, and if possible we will book your cottage again.
