Mrs Gaule, June 2018
Owner was very helpful, big thank you !

The Brophy Party, May 2018
We really enjoyed our stay here. It is on a quiet road, but not faroff the main road from Glengarriff to Castletownbere. There are a few other houses nearby, but out of sight and earshot. The house is fabulous with everything we needed and was spacious and clean. A nice, simple garden with plenty of parking and turning space and a gate to close to keep children safe. There are big flat rocks in the garden that were warm after a day in the sun - these were great to dry and air our boots after long days walking in the countryside around the area!

The Sims Family, July 2017
We had a lovely stay at the holiday house, it was very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Our family ranges in age from 17 to 91 and a great holiday was had by all.

The Siwakowska Family, June 2017
The cottage is beautifully located, spacious and renovated. Safe for small children. Great for those who look for a quiet and peaceful place.

The Vacietis Family, May 2017
Quiet and beautiful place and not difficult to reach. The owner was very helpful and everything was really uncomplicated. Short driving distance to Glengarriff and an ideal location to explore Beara Peninsula and Southwest of Ireland

M.Pascal Bernardin, October 2016
Well equipped and comfortable accommodation, in a peaceful and scenic location.

Frau Ludwig, Germany, September 2016
We enjoyed every minute in the cottage - also the cottage is in a beautiful area and very easy to find. Everything was clean and cosy. We most recommend the cottage.

Hollingsworth, September 2013
Location is good.

The Lumsden Family, July 2013
Beautiful bungalow on superb elevated site. Proximity to beach was a real plus for the grandchild. Very well appointed house which made for a memorable holiday. The owner/caretaker was friendly and generous with his time and advice.

The Dwyer Family, July 2013
The house was lovely, very spacious and lovely. We were greeted with a tray of prepared tea and biscuits and tehre were plenty of towels, soap etc. It was in a lovely location. The best beach nearby as there are few beaches around in the small sandy cove 2km away. Lovely view of the sea from the house. Would highly recommend the property.

David, Patricia, Joe and Christine, September 2012
A roomy cottage in tranquil, picture postcard setting. Very impressed by how clean everything was. Food excellent everywhere we ate out and very reasonable. People everywhere were a delight, so friendly and helpful, making a lovely holiday perfect. Will return soon.

Miss Ann Shiner, June 2012
This is defenatly one of the better cottages we've beeb to. Appreciated being able to arrive at a time suitable to us (key left available) and not having to check how much heat/elec was going to cost at end of stay. Really enjoyed having good TV coverage, can be rare in this part of Ireland. Very welcoming and accomadating owner, would definitely recommend staying here, well worth it for the quiet, and views.

Green Family, April 2012
Very friendly owner, very well equipped, although out in the Countryside, it ws easy to get to places of interest, fabulous garden for the children to burn off some energy.

E Grimshaw, October 2010
The coastline is beautiful as are the nearby hills and beaches. We went walking and running and had trips out to Strandhill, Knocknarea and Lough Easkey. We spoiled ourselves with good food and wine. There were a lot of fossils near the rocky beaches which we found interesting.

Maureen, September 2010
Having been to Ireland several times, it was what we expected. Glengariff itself is a very pretty, clean and friendly place. We spent our holiday sightseeing and walking. The Beara Peninsula is a lovely place and Mizzen Head is also very nice. We particularly enjoyed the Bamboo Park and Nature Reserve. Both the Hawthorn and the Coltage Pubs served good food at reasonable prices and with ample portions.

Caitlin, June 2010
Had a great holiday. Spent time at the Wildlife Park, on the beach and the Ring of Kerry

Andrew, Bicester, June 2010
We liked the sheltered nature of the cottage, neatly tucked into the hillside. Very well located for touring Kerry and Cork. Should point out the very well landscaped garden.

Paul , December 2009
Having been to Ireland several times it was exactly what we expected. Glengariff itself is very pretty, clean and friendly. We did a lot of sightseeing and walking. The Beara Peninsula is a lovely trip. Mizean Head is also very informative. We especially enjoyed the Bamboo Park and Nature Reserve. Would recommend eating at the Hawthorn Pub and Cottage Pub.

Mr and Mrs Dewhurst, June 2006
The property was lovely and the views were spectacular. We were out and about most days, taking in the sights, visiting places such as the Bamboo Park which was lovely, Bantry etc. We went to Cork for the day on the bus which was quite easy to do and Garnish Island is a must. The Rainbow restaurant/pub was lovely for a meal and the staff were extremely friendly.
