The Bolster Family, August 2018
Our stay here was really good. The Skellig view was great. Our Aunty, Uncle and cousins came and it was a great family holiday. We had a great time splashing and swimming in White Strand but, when we wanted peace and quiet, we had no trouble. We read lots of books in the peace and quiet. On one of the days we went to the Daniel O'Connell museum - who knew I could learn so much! We all really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

The house was clean, we were really happy with it. The owner is really reactive and has been really helpful. We strongly recommend!
The Thorpe Family, May 2018
What a mega house this is! We stayed for a week and found plenty to do. We ate too much ice cream, explored lots of incredible places, a rock that looked like a seal, and some locals spinning in a circle to music. We leave very relaxed, sunburnt and having bothered the nearby cows one too many times. Thanks for an amazing trip!
Stalley family, August 2017
A wonderfull spot for a family holiday. The house is ideal and virtually child proof!. The view from the dining room table is a constant delight, gazing at the Skelligs in every different light. The garden is perfect for children to run off excess energy. At night the sky was just sensational, never seen so many stars. Best expedition was to Bray Head, but beware the Loop walk- more a bog walk. Kids loved it, sinking almost to their knees. Valentia island high spot - the ice cream farm. Best memories watching and listening to the cows, the Blackberries and hedgerows.
Weaver family, August 2017
Our large family loved our stay at this property. We all agree that a week in this beautiful place, is far better than any hectic whistle stop tour across the country. For future guests we recommend Bray's Head, the drive from Waterville to Caherdaniel. The boat tours to the Skelligs are not to be missed, though try to avoid windy days. To our hosts, thank you for your hospitality and we hope to return again soon.

I was looking for abit of solitude and lots of quietness and found it. This cottage us heaven for any writer. The rabbtsnad birds were a wonderful extra. A warm thank you and good bye from a grateful Austrian.
The Kong Family, August 2015
Thank you very much for a lovely week * it has flown by! We have explored the island from candles and ice cream to exotic gardens and beaches. The house has been very comfortable and spacious with beautiful views in the calm morning. We really feel we have discovered a small part of this lovely island.
Alan and Co., August 2015
Spent a week in August here and the quality of the house was very high and is perfect for families or groups as its very spacious and private. Its located very close to Portmagee with stunning views of the surrounding countryside as well as Skellig and Bray Head.
The Brablin Family, August 2015
Thanks a million for this wonderful week in heaven. The house was just perfect (during rainy days as much as sunny days!) We enjoyed the gorgeous, sweet home so much! The views are breath taking and Portmagee and Knightstown and such charming places. We loved the walk to Brayhead, the scenic view from the Grotto path and the boat trip around Skelligs. There is so much to do! We are very sad to leave tomorrow and we'll miss this unforgettable place.
Laucha and Co., July 2015
We've had a fantastic experience in this gorgeous house in Valentia Island. The house has perfectly accommodated our family of 10 and everything was beyond expectation;the owners organisation, the house's facilities, the location and the view. There are so many wonderful walks and activities to do on the island. You're very close to Bray Head Loop Walk and we highly recommend the carriage ride with Joe of the Ice Cream Parlour. We were extremely lucky to stay there and we definitely recommend booking this property!
The Rutschmann party, August 2014

The scenery is lovely. We cycled around the area, walked and visited the beaches and pubs.
Paul Hannan, July 2010
This is our second time staying in this property. The family has enjoyed our holiday this time again. The house has catered well for our needs. The grounds are an asset as we have 3 children and a further 2 kids from my wife's sister and brother-in-law. The weather has been unkind this time around but it didn't ruin our holiday or dampen our spirits.
I would always consider booking Sceilig View in the future.
Paul, Crumlin, July 2010
We enjoyed the space outside the house, spacious interior, easy to clean and comfort. The area is impressive with panoramic views although secluded. Our party included 3 families and all who visited this property and Valentia Island. We all enjoyed the holiday.
Pam and Annie, August 2009
What a wonderful week we had at your home. We found it difficult to leave the island. We have all agreed that if the opportunity should arise to come back to Ireland we would love to come to your home again.
Thew, July 2009

We certainly enjoyed our holiday exploring all the beauty spots on the Island and relaxing in great comfort. I would strongly recommend a family holiday in this beautiful home to anyone.

Just wanted to say thankyou. Myself and my friends from New York had a wonderful time at your beautiful cottage. Everything was just perfect! Many Thanks
Mr Edmondson, June 2006
The property was new, spacious. It was in a fantastic location with excellent views and wildlife at the property (birds, hares, rabbits on the lawn in the mornings). It had a really relaxing atmosphere- not commercial. The caretaker was very helpful and friendly.
