Bob and Missy, October 2019
Thank again for a wonderful relaxing time, even the weather co operated! All the best.
Jane and Michel, September 2019
A wonderful cottage set in a magnificant countryside offering a place to recharge those batteries. So much to see and do, two weeks is never enough. Connemara has a magic all of its own. A place of tradition and where life can be put on hold just for a while. From castles, gardens, churches, Abbeys, mines, lakes, bogs, beaches, music, pubs, sailing and walking, there is something for everyone. Thank you for your kindness and hardwork in maintaining a part of 'old Ireland'
Pete, Trace and Beth, August 2019
Had an amazing week in this fantastic cottage with incredible views, atlantic storms, hares galore and kestrels. Visited amazing places. Warm peat fires, fresh produce from Irish farms and best seafood ever. Thank you for a lovely cottage that made our dreams come to life. Sad to be leaving.
Steve, Elli, Isabel and Laurent, June 2019
A comfortable stay. The weather was not the best for June, but the cottage was warm. The location is great for visiting the highlights of Connemara. Good value and great views.
Bol, June 2019
The welcoming of the owner was wonderful. Because the cottage is situated on an (semi)island it is very quiet and piecefull. The views were amazing and as the cottage is the last house at the end of a small road you have a lot of privacy. Everything you need is there. The beds are very good. We would love to visit it again.
Corrie and Hank, May 2019
This cottage is really relaxing, only the noise of silence!( birds, sheep and cows) We had sunny weather most of the days and hardly any rain. Our favourite trips; Inishmore of the Aran Islands, The Inagh Valley, Diamond Hill. Roundstone is a pleasant village to have a drink or food. Thanks!
Elaine and Reggie, May 2019
Thanks for everything, loved this cottage and surrounding views. We had a great time visiting all Connemara had to offer.
Gale family, May 2019
We hve been very comfortable here. We found the beaches at Rounstone impressive, especially on a sunny day!. Equaly impressive was the walled garden off Kylemore( but be ready for the midges if it is cloudy and calm).
We've seen Cuckoos, Stonechat and Hares. Erris Beg and Diamond Hill are enjoyable walks. The path up Diamond Hill is steep but well maintained, Erris Beg summit is not hard to find but the path was*
If you walk into Roundstone there is a back road(track) after you leave the Inish nee, so you don't need to follow the main road - check the map!. Thank you.
Thomas, April 2019
We had five wonderful sunny days in beautiful Connemara. The cottage is lovely, spectacularly situated with gorgeous views. We loved Roundstone with its good pubs and nice people, the excellent beaches and of course the Connemara National Park, with its imposing mountains. A lot of reasons to come back! Thank you for a wonderful time in the cottage.
Kurz family, April 2019
We had a lovely few days in your cottage. Many thanks.
Frederic and Laurence, April 2019
Many thanks for a wonderful experience in this peaceful and lovely cottage. We have been blessed with a nice sunny weather most of our stay. This place is amazing and we are lacking time to see all it wonder. Thank you again for everything.
Eenstroom Party, November 2018
This cottage is fantastic! It is very basic, but you have everything you need. Especially the fireplace was amazing! Reading a book, having a cup of tea and sitting by the fire. What more do you need.
Agnes and Lionell, Montmouillon, France, September 2018
This was our second stay in Ireland discovering Connemara. We had an incredible stay in this small house at the end of the world. Magnificently framed with a magical view, we received a warm welcome despite our late arrival. Still dazzled by our experience seeing Dog's Bay, Roundstone, Clifden, Sky Road, Kylemore Abbey, the National Park with the climb up Diamond Hill, Killary Harbour (Fjord), Silver Strand, Westport, the scenic roads, Galway and Cliffs of Moher, Inishnee and Ballynahinch. We leave with a head full of memories! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Cecile et Laurent, September 2018
For our first holiday in Ireland we have been staying by sublime scenery. We have loved the location with it's beautiful sea view. Connemara is a magnificent region between the sea and the mountains. We leave with plenty of beautiful memories. Thank you.
Paul and family, July 2018
We enjoyed a great week in Connermara. The house and surroundings were lovely.
Markus, Claudia and Anna, July 2018
We really enjoyed staying in the property which is situated in a quiet and peaceful location . There were so many beautiful areas to discover and we wished we could have stayed for longer than one week.
Brally family, July 2018
Our stay at this property will be remembered fondly. It was a real tonic and provided the much needed peace and tranquility that we needed. There are breathtaking views from the property.
Davies family, July 2018
This lovely cottage is situated in a peaceful setting and has dramatic virews. The local people were so friendly and helpful and we will hopefully return!
Martine party, June 2018
We never thought we would find such a treasure. The property is a cosy, warm cottage and has lovely views.
Romone, Victor, Elodie and Benoir, May 2018
The scenery is magnificant! We have so many memories! We had a boat for the fjord, we explored the National Park in Connemara and visited Galway. We were really happy in this lovely little house.
Graham and Angie, April 2018
This property provides an excellent escape for those seeking peace and tranquility. We have travelled across most of Ireland and after a busy few days visiting family and friends, we were able to relax and unwind at the cottage.
Seamus party, March 2018
We had a lovely few days at the property including some walks to see the nearby ponies. Everything about the location is amazing, the quiet, the wind and and the wildness. We look forward to visiting again.
Mr and Mrs Grogan, November 2017
This is a delightful cottage in a very peaceful and picturesque location. We had a lovely week in November and the weather was kind to us - dry mostly then a sprinkling of snow on the hills at the end of the week. We enjoyed a walk every day somewhere nearby - on the beach, Erris Beg, Omey Island. The open fire in the evening rounded off the day perfectly.
Didier, September 2017
Amazing place - lovely cottage (the nicest since the beginning of my jouirneys in Ireland in 2012). Getting up each morning and adoring the Twelve Bens in the rising of the sun (or in the clouds, sometimes!). Each evening* setting of the bench outside and accompanying the sun in its sunset above Roundstone village. Calm! Connemara could be the paradise on earth and Inishnee could be its central point!
Le Goff Family, September 2017
A paradise on earth!
Bridie, Carl and Jo, Bedfordshire, August 2017
A stunning place. As wildlife lovers and beachcombers we were in heaven. Coastal scenery is heartstopping with ever changing light and weather adding to the drama. We saw dolphins twice at Dogs Bay, Irish hares out of the window and a Sea Eagle at Innishbuffin, a visit to this is highly recommended and do head for the beaches and the Dolphin Hotel. So pleased to see such extensive wildflower rich meadows. A beautiful little cottage, cosy and warm and views all around. One day we would love to visit the little island we look at from the door. Roundstone is also a lovely place. This was our honeymoon - one year after our wedding - and we had such a happy time.
Christine and Jean-luc, Switzerland, July 2017
A lovely place to stay, nice landscape, a lot of birds and the visit of two Irish hares almost every day. It was a great time.
Leasa and Martin, June 2017
This cottage is a wonderful place to be. The view is smashing and the scenery is really dreamlike. We had a wonderful time together here in this peaceful house.
Flora and Willempje,, June 2017
Thank you Bridie for your hospitality. It is lovely to find scones one day waiting for us at the doorstep. We had a good stay in both cottages. Beautiful weather. All the best for you and your husband. Hope to come back one day
Quillea, Berkhamsted, May 2017
Connemara is a fertile country for writers, poets and artists. Following far behind them with my camera I had 6 days of more or less unbroken sunshine. My favourite part of Ireland has wonderful light, early in the morning and in the evening. If you are in luck with the weather - enjoy!
Thirza, Ben, Ahhie and Ebel, Holland, May 2017
We had a lovely stay over here . How we enjoyed the beautiful sights around this place. We had one week of sunshine and one a combination of sunshine, wind and rain. Didn't matter to us, we made such lovely friends.
Maureen and Aideen, Ireland, May 2017
We spent a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful place, surrounded by mountains, sea and wildlife. In this timeless place the week went by too quickly so we hope to come back again for a longer stay next time. Thank you for everything, all the little things that make such a difference in a self-catering holiday cottage.
Gaynor and Eddie, February 2017
We arrived at the same time as Storm Doris to find Bridie had turned on the lights and lit the fire, a wonderful warm welcome - thank you! A walk along the Dog's Bay with clear blue skies and snow capped mountains was wonderful, cold and exhilerating, topped off with a pint in O'Dowds. The whole week has been a joy. We'll be back again!
Mr Conneely, February 2017
This place is perfect for a quiet, relaxing retreat. The owner is more than welcoming but never intrusive. Perfect location!
Elodie, August 2016
A very good holiday
Waking up every morning with a panorama worthy of the most beautiful postcards Connemara, while having all the comforts of modern life, this is offered by the house . Lovely week spent here , great location for exploring this part of Ireland.
Karin, July 2016
This is the perfect place to wind down and relax.
Mr and Mrs Tschuschke, Germany., May 2016
We had a wonderful stay in this cosy cottage. Breathtaking views around the cottage to the ocean, the mountains as well as Roundstone. Everything you need the cottage has and you feel at home as soon as you step inside. The owner is a very nice person with lots of ideas of things to do around Connemara. We loved every minute of our stay and the two weeks went by way too fast. We can highly recommend this property to everybody and have done so already to our friends and family. Thank you very much.
Brigitte and Fabien Bonesteve, April 2016
We have spent wonderful holidays in the beautiful Connemara countryside.
Irish people are very friendly and the owner ws very welcoming.
A lovely cottage in a wonderful place.
Neauleau Family, April 2016
A wonderfully warm welcome but it's also the rental place that is magical . ... Typical remote house in the middle of the moors overlooking the sea and the 12 bens with wonderful 360 views... Not far from Roundstone with its charming harbor and its authentic pubs it's at the heart of all the most beautiful tours of Connemara. The property is cosy.
Raymond and Bernie Coffey, April 2016
Beautiful cottage with wonderful views, so homely with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday.
The owners were very attentive and I only wish we could stay here for one more week at least.
Today my husband completed the loop walk, very beautiful and well worth the trek with primroses and violets and lots of horses and foals everywhere.
Just magical. Please God we will return to the End of the Earth - wonderful Inis Ni.
Polly and Ian mcKay, February 2016
We have enjoyed a sunny week here, exploring the island, Roundstone, Dog's bay peninsular and the coast to the West, as well as walking around Ballynahinch and driving up to Letterfrach and the Abbey near there. Also walking across the peat bogs to Marconi' radio station and the Alcock and Brown cove. The Atlantic coast was wild and beautiful and we loved looking at the bird life everywhere. A refreshing week, in a lovely cottage - just what we needed.
Mr and Mrs Royle, January 2016
A very happy new year for us!
Exploring the Connemara coastline and reading about the rich history of this corner of Ireland. And what better place to stay than this cottage on Inis Ni, perched among the drama of the storms, the panorama can't be beaten from the sea to Inishlacken to Roundstone to the mountains.
The Carr Family, September 2015
Lovely traditional Irish cottage, wonderful location for a peaceful restful holiday. But still near to places of interest and outdoor activities e.g. walking, cycling, horesriding, fishing, bird watching, bars and hotels serve some great fresh local food. People friendly and welcoming everywhere we stayed, this is the fourth time staying in this property and we love going to stay.
Nadine and Francois Boncard France, August 2015
A lovely cottage located in amazing surroundings with wonderful views of the Twelve Bens and the sea. Despite an unsteady weather we really enjoyed our stay, driving through Connemara and climbing the rocks near the cottage.
Luthi party, June 2015
Perfect for experiencing the elemental nature in silence.
Those looking for strong experiences of Irish Nature - lonely sea, barren pastures, wind, animals around the house, a few but very friendly, characterful people and a peat fire in the fireplace - will find this place ideal.
Christof and Diana, June 2015
Surrounded by the sea, the hills in the west, a lot of rabbits, sheep, cows and Connemara Ponies, birds singing in the air, a little cottage what more do you need? We're happy, very happy at this place and we have had a wonderful holiday!
Mario and Ellen, May 2015
This is a wonderful place, full of freedom and silence. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful house
Mark and Emmett, May 2015

amazing peaceful and quiet setting; great views;
Magill party, October 2014
Relaxing Weekend Away
Had a great time on our stay. The cottage was clean with a fire prepared upon arrival. All necessary kitchen accessories were available. The owner was lovely and gave us a quick history of the cottage upon arrival. The cottage is surrounded 180 degrees by absolutely breath taking views and scenery and Roundstone is only a few minutes drive away.I'd recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to get away for a while, I'll certainly be back.
Mr Griffiths, October 2014
This property is ideal for a peaceful stay. Stunning Scenery.
The Carr's, September 2014
The location is beautiful, wonderful views of the Bay and Roundstone Harbour. Also view of Inishlacken Island and Gurteen Beach. Short drive into Roundstone for good food, especially fish and seafood.
Frank, Margaret, Samantha and David Corrcoran Rugby England, September 2014
A lovely cottage in a superb and spectacular part of Ireland, so very peaceful and tranquil. Many lovely places of interest, weather very good for most of our stay. We would very much wish to be able to return sometime in the future. Oour very best wishes and many thanks.
Barbara and Michael Carr Newcastle, September 2014
This is our 3rd stay in this cottage. Brilliant as usual, lovely cottage with everything you'd need. Wonderful location and views. Favourite places, Dogs Bay for a swim, Diamond Hill for a walk, Clifden for shopping, Duhaven beach for seal spotting and bird watching. Weather was warm and sunny as it has been every time we come to Ireland. Glorious place. Will be back God willing.
Joanne and David Preston England, September 2014
This is our second visit to this cottage and definitely will not be our last, we love it here, the peace and tranquillity caonnot be beaten. The weather on this occasion was fantastic, although it would be great here in any weather. Thank you again.
Ger and Michelle Cosgrove, September 2014
This was the best week I have spent in Ireland in years. Thank you for everything.
Francois Buoy France, August 2014
It was a pleasure to stay here for a week. We won't regret our stay on Inishnee for the quietness and the views off the ocean and the mountains. We are now going to travel to Dublin.
John and Carolyn Finn Co. Down, June 2014
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is in a wonderful location with splendid views. Very peaceful and relaxing. Watching the hares was an added bonus.
Cathy and Bob Sampson USA, June 2014
The cottage is super! We've had such a great time. Thanks you

Brilliant all around!! 11 out of 10
Get Holland, November 2013
Thank you for a lovely stay at your house! The house itself, its surroundings the beautiful views and sunsets all made me very happy. Also the warm electric blanket was such a great pleasure. I hope to be able to take my family and friends one time to this lovely island. Thank you
Vivenne and Chris, October 2013
We booked only 5 nights here * what a big mistake! We could have settled in for a month. Cottage and landscape exceeded our expectations and they were high after watching Monty Halls Great Irish Escapes (BBC). Bridie was warm and welcoming and shared a little of the cottages history with us including the fact that her husband Pat was born here. The autumn weather was changeable with most of the rain and wind overnight and early morning then sunshine and mild temperatures. Inishnee is a photographer's paradise with billowing cloudscapes and all things picturesque. We definitely 'lived the dream'. We would love to return but we are on the other side of the world another spectacular island * Tasmania and is a long journey so *.maybe.
Eggers Family, August 2013
Tomorrow after 3 weeks we have to leave this cosy cottage. Yesterday in the news we learned that it was the best July regarding weather since 1921*. The combination, together with this nice cottage * so far from stress and traffic * made it a true 'paradise-time' for us. We love the view to the Twelve Pins and the changing lights and your cows and the sea views. Thank you for this fantastic place and all the best to your husband and you.
Elizabeth, Colombe and Loiz, July 2013
The Eden garden was here during this week! Delightful local welcome, walking and cycling in a wonderful landscape on a mountain way day, swimming in the crystal waters on a new beach every evening, sun and heat, and this essential cottage! Thank you very much!
Brian and Liz, June 2013
This was our second visit to Inishnee and it was again an extremely enjoyable and peaceful stay. Mornings have been full of birdsong and the raucous calls of the jackdaws which had nested in one of the chimneys. Hares abound and the swallows which have the tendency of swooping down in front of your car to catch the disturbed insects. The weather has been reasonably kind to us. Can thoroughly recommend Denis Fishshop in Roundstone and the Connemara Smokehouse in Ballyconneely. Will definitely return.
Dowdalls Family, June 2013
Beautiful location! Had a wonderful time
Heather and Mike, May 2013
Long journey from Dublin, but worth the views. Peaceful cottage, rather windy but didn't spoil enjoyment. Free entertainment from the hares. Lovely part of Ireland would come again.
David and Joanne, May 2013
Possibly one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to! We never tired of the stunning view. When you turn the corner at the top of the hill and gaze down at this pretty, idyllic cottage.
Sylvia, August 2013
WE really enjoyed our stay in this nice cottage: pretty view, lovely site, funny hares jumping in the garden. We particularly appreciated the quality of silence. We discovered grea5t pleasure in places: Roundstone beaches (Gurteen Bay and Dog's Bay), Diamond Hill, Clifden, Inishboffin Island.. so thank you to remove us from our usual surroundings, we are lucky to break a rest in this peaceful place.
Taylor, August 2012
The cottage is lovely with fantastic views. The owner is on hand to help if you have any problems. The road to the cottage is a single track and can be tricky to get down. The owner charges for oil/electricty at the end of your stay and for the 2 weeks it cost 30 Euros we thought this was very fair.
The Howe Family, August 2012
Absoloutely fantastic location! Total chill out time.
John Goold, May 2012
Wonderful Location. With all the atmosphere of remote West Coast of Ireland. Good access to Roundstone and Connemara.
David, Eoghan, Kevin, November 2011
We travelled the highways and byways that each to every kind of beach imaginable. Mountain, Rivers, Mores you name it, we've been there. Every day brought new lights and coming home to light the fire and reading was the perfect end to every perfect day. We have had a great tome hope to see you again.
Baldry Familie, October 2011
The cottage feels like home I will be very unhappy to leave it tomorrow. Lighting a fire was a perfect rewarding of the day. The weather was "interesting"- several days being inside the cloud - but this only helped make the revealing of the Bens among dramatic clouds all the more exciting. I have some wonderful photographs, though my water-colous effects need some work. Once the sky had decided to return where it belongs it all moved about too fast. Thank you Bridie. Brilliant
Mike Meadows, Jan Culleton, September 2011
Arrived as tail end of hurricane approaching.Even when, the views were amazing of the crashing waves. When the sun came out the sun on the water enticed us out to travel the length and breadth of this beautiful area. We absolutaly loved it here and on our "bucket" list for another trip. Thank you.
The Meadows, September 2011
The area is absolutely stunning and Imagine Ireland gave excellent support
The Moore Family, August 2011
Beautiful views. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and warm in the evenings with the fire going. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The booking with Imagine Ireland was easy and efficient.
Tont and Josephine Campion, Chris and Sue Stantey, August 2011
Charming unspoilt exactly what we wanted. Thanks for allowing us to share this beautiful area.
The Moors, August 2011
The enchanted location. The light as shy endlessly changing to create a portrait of wild nature. The cottage is well placed and equipped and a cosy home from home in Galway.
I agree with the above. Amazing view out over to Roundstone. Loved it. Tons of midges. Got absolutaly midgefied.
Seamus and Ann, August 2011
Lovely place fantastic views. Realy enjoyed our stay.Look forward for returning in the future.
John and Katika, July 2011
A little corner of paradise! Admittedly it's the ocrner with a lot of rain, but what the hack!! Lovely cottage exactly what we stressed. City - folks needed. Thanks a lot.
Peter and Patricia, June 2011
Very remote, exposed but this has to be expected in view of location. Ideal place to get away from it all.
Pat and Peter Gardiner, June 2011
A very pleasant first visit to Ireland. Many thinks for your hospitality and accommodation. Lovely weather wherever we went but we'll never complain about wind!! Love and Best Wishes.

Theresa and Ttrevor, July 2009
I've never stayed in such beautiful surroundings it's perfect here, with everything you could want at hand and to round it all off the comfort of solitude that this cottage provides. If ever we could afford a life of leisure, then we'd like to beccome permanent tennants

We have had a wonderful time in this perfectly situated cottage.
Andy, Kathrine, Spencer and Tristran., July 2007
This was our first time renting a cottage - we drove in with a leap of faith and have not been disappointed, The cottage is rustic but very comfortable. Ireland is a fantastic country and this region is stunning in its rugged beauty. We enjoyed O'Dowds in Roundstone and a wonderful restaurant called Pangur Bar in Letterfrack - best food I've had in some time.
Dick and Helen, July 2007
A perfect place from which to explore beautiful Connemara. We've had a lovely relaxing week.
Barbara and Mike, July 2007
Comfortable well equipped cottage. Good central location for exploring Connemara, yet tucked away and peaceful. Great food at Vaughn's.
Brian and Val, June 2007
A stunning peaceful tranquil cottage courtesy of a brilliant collaboration between the owner and mother nature - a comfortable clean well presented base for exploring Connemara with amazing scenery. Even the rain could not spoil our week.
Sue, Graham and Adam, June 2007
Cottage remote but very cosy. Enjoyed the "off-roading" to get here. We really enjoyed Irish night at the local pub in Roundstone. Location very peaceful, a good getaway. Everybody was really friendly and welcoming.
Mike and Heather, June 2007
Brilliant comfortable cottage, lovely views and plenty of peace and quiet. Blessed with wonderful weather. Visited several quaint coves and beaches. Everyone so friendly which helped make it a great holiday.

Anne and David, September 2006
We have had a lovely fortnight, very peaceful and quiet. The weather has been much better than expected and we have seen some lovely sunsets This has been an excellent base for exploring the area. The location is beautiful, wonderful views. Thank you for the welcoming touches - the tea tray, milk, and fresh flowers were much appreciated and we enjoyed our peat fires. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The local touches - marble floors, and pictures and pottery - are very attractive.
Nerina, Paul, and Shane, September 2006
Had a great time, amazing views from the cottage, we found something new to see and do each day. The cottage felt so homely and we thank you for such a warm welcome. We hope to come back sooner rather than later.

I found the cottage to be a worthwhile experience. I couldn't ask for anything better as the cottage was fantastic to stay in and the surrounding areas were very peaceful and stunning.
