We had a fantastic time in this property over our 2 night stay. The owner was fantastic to work with, so pleasant and helpful. Amazed at how big the house was and the games room was an added bonus. We had great fun with the horses and donkeys. One of which did not like to be called 'Ned'. We will recommend this home highly to our family and friends. A great weekend was had. Many Thanks.

I really like it here. I love your donkeys and horses. They are so cute. The house is so big. It's like a mansion. I love it! I named the animals- Whiteone, Olaf, Brown one, Sphen.

This is our 4th time back at this wonderful retreat. We love the lake and the fishing. Have been teaching my young son to fish and he , like myself is really enjoying it. Recommend a visit to Lough Gara Stables and Country Pursuits. We all had great fun out there and indeed have been back several times. The children especially enjoyed feeding the horses Tammy and Stanley. They walked with us to the lake every morning.

A spacious house, beautifully presented with all the facilities one would expect. The views were stunning, a gem for a rural relaxing break! Thanks to the owner for the warn welcome, much appreciated after our long trip. The local golf club was a treat and we thoroughly enjoyed the lake boat trip arranged by the owner.

Very spacious great for a big group and games room a bonus.

Liz, June 2017
It was lovely that the beds were all made up on arrival and a welcoming bottle of wine waiting for us, along with complementary tea, coffee, milk and chocolate. The house is really private, peaceful and spacious with great parking facilities, fabulous views and handy access to Boyle and the activities at Lough Key. 3 or 4 bedrooms are en-suite which is a really bonus for a mixed group. We were on a family trip rather than a tourist visit, so it was a perfect location for us visiting family and friends in Roscommon and Leitrim.

Inez, June 2017

Fantastic house with plenty of land and a scenic view of the lake. Located about 15 minutes outside of Carrick-on-Shannon town centre. Each room is spacious and the kitchen is a good size for a large family and has all the mod cons you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly to anyone!

Superb location with fabulous views. The area was quite remote but ideal for a quiet relaxing break. We enjoyed sightseeing and fishing. The lough key forrest walk was excellent. Moorings - the fool was very good but they only cooked Fri, Sat, Sun. Would recommend this because it was such a lovely location and very spacious.

The area was quite remote but ideal for a quiet and relaxing break. We enjoyed sightseeing and fishing. The Lough Key Forest walk was excellent. The nearest pub was the Moorings - the food was very good, but they only cooked Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We enjoyed some lovely food at McDermotts, which was about 4-5 miles away on the N4.
