Holdstock Party, June 2019
Comfortable and spacious, homely bungalow in a tranquil location with splendid views. Large garden providing a very private setting. Well located to visit the sites and attractions of the Beara Peninsula.

Healy Party, June 2019
When first driving back to this property we thought what have we gotten ourselves into, but soon realized how perfect the location and house were. The drive into Castletownbere became easy and even a pleasure, and we enjoyed evening walks surveying the sheep on the next door property. The owner thought of absolutely everything that you could need and promptly answered any texts. She even had a lovely tea set on the table along with a supply of freshly baked cookies and milk in the fridge. We will be coming back again to this one!

Denis Party, May 2019
The view is wonderful, the house is big and comfortable.

The Reece Party, June 2018
An amazing setting and a very well equipped cottage. Distant sea views from most of the rooms are stunning. The owner was very welcoming and we felt relaxed and at home. We were able to watch the solstice sunset from the garden with hares for company!

If you want a holiday in a beautiful rural setting, slow down and let the children run free, then this is the property for you. The owner is welcoming and helpful and this home comes with everything you could need for a great holiday. My children loved the toy box, dvd's and books. The Beara area is beautiful, great walks, food and peace and quiet. Can't wait to go back.

Miller Family, October 2017
We were greeted by the owner, had a nice talk and she gave us a lot of information. It is very warm and welcoming and very homely and warm during the rain storm. It is a great setting from which to see the Beara Peninsula sights.

Verheij, September 2017
Great cottage, comfortable, well appointed, beautiful location and views, super quiet. Very kind owner.

Cavazza party, September 2017
Great rural location. We had a wonderful experience. We wanted a place that was remote and rural to explore the Beara Peninsula and this was perfect. Beautiful views and very nice house. Our host was knowledgeable and gracious with the house stocked and ready for our arrival. I highly recommend this home and the Irish Beara Peninsula for vacation

Booth Party, June 2017
Parc na sear was the perfect property for us, a stunning location with plenty of walks and places to visit in the local area. Our particular favourite walks were on Bere Island (on a clear day you can see Parc na sear from the high point of the island), at Allihies and Gleninchaquin Park. We found people to be incredicbly friendly wherever we went, the shops, restaurants and bars in Eyeries and Castletownbere are very welcoming. The cottage is extremely comfortable with everything you could need, set in a lovely garden, with far-reaching views of the mountains and the coast. The owner, Ms Brien was there to meet us and her enthusiasm for and knowledge of the area shone through. We were then left to enjoy our holiday but it was made clear that if we needed anything, help was only a phone call away! This is Ireland at its best and we cant wait to return!

The Harrall Party, May 2017
We found the cottage and location excellent - very quiet which suited us.

Great accomadation, very spacious and amazing value. Excellent place to stay with the village of Eyeries on the dorrstep. Beara Peninsula so beautiful and unspoiled.

Pedreschi family, June 2016
We had a fantastic stay in this property, everything we needed was included in the price. We did a lot of sight seeing as the area is very scenic, and the panoramic view from the property was breath taking. The owner was near by if required, and we were very sad to leave. We hope to visit again. We enjoyed it so much that we have already passed details on to family and friends.

Pedreschi Party, May 2016
one of our most enjoyable stays in that area of West Cork, lots of sightseeing to do, our trip to Mizen Head was really enjoyable.

Odusanya family, September 2015
The host was friendly and welcoming. The property was well maintained, garden was superb. The children enjoyed running and playing in the garden and the view was excellent. This is an ideal home for holidaying.

Tunde, Toyim and Family, September 2015
We appreciate the warm welcome we received into a lovely cottage. What a wonderful view. The children enjoyed running around the garden and playing on the grass. It's home away from home. Can't wait to come back soon.

Plank Family, August 2015
Lovely location in a rural area, with plenty of room inside for the whole family. Lovely, safe garden for the children to play, but also quiet with stunning views for adults to relax.

The Sewell Family, August 2015

Lovely house close to Eyeries and Beara Peninsula
The lady that owns this house is very friendly and welcoming. I could have talked all day to her. The house was very cosy and was fully equipped for a self catering holiday for adults and children. The children really liked the big garden. It is close to the fishing town of Castletownbere and to the village of Eyeries where there are shops and restaurants. It is an ideal touring base for the fabulous Beara Peninsula with some lovely beaches and islands to explore. We would stay here again.

Ms Barry, June 2015
This ticked all our boxes. A clean comfortable cosy house, in a quiet and beautiful place. Perfect for a sunny day, and even a rainy day! It was so relaxed and homely, we struggled to leave, and hope to return.

'Excellent accommodation at a good price'
Until very recently this cottage was someone's home, rather than a holiday let, and it shows in the homeliness of the accommodation and the quality of the fittings and furnishings. We gather we were the first to rent it, and we really enjoyed our stay. It has great views across the surrounding area, and is lovely and quiet at night. We only used the main bedroom but the bed there was really comfortable. There are TVs in three of the rooms. The garden is really spacious, and there is space to park several cars. Each of the rooms is a good size. It's up a very quiet narrow road with no immediate neighbours, so gives you lots of privacy. We would have no hesitation in returning here. The owner lives very locally and is delightful.
