Situated on the Loughros Headland which sticks out for a few miles from Ardara into the bay, it was very remote and quiet. Within easy travelling are the strand beach with it's caves, Slieve League, a mountain with cliffs that drop to the sea and many spectacular beaches. The cottage itself is comfortable with all the feautures one needs, including TV and Wi-Fi. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable. The owner was very obliging and friendly and always available.

Yet again another fantastic holiday in this wonderful cottage. No words could ever describe just how much I love this house and am already planning my next trip to it. Sean as always is the perfect host, most welcoming and great fun, nothing is ever too much trouble for him and this in turn makes it even more inviting to stay. I simply cannot wait to return.

Our stay in Ardara was so relaxing and the surroundings were beautiful. Liam was very friendly, although we didn't need to contact him while there we knew he was only a phone call away should we need anything. Even the bad weather didn't put us off we all agreed another visit in 2018 when hopefull the sun will be shining.

The proprieter was very friendly and welcomimg. The heat was on, the fire prepared and a bottle of merlot on the kitchen table. Good sized garden for pets, beautiful views of the mountains and sea, great sandy beaches nearby. A cosy cottage with a lived-in feeling, relaxing and comfortable, and great for getting away from it all.Thoroughly recommended!

Amazing setting on the peninsula overlooking the lough with views of Mahera beach and caves. Quiet and out of the way but not too far from the beach or town, which has great places to eat and drink. Also ideally located for touring the County and visiting Glencolumkille, Donegal Bay etc. The property is comfortable and cosy with central heating and a stove for burning logs, we haven't been that relaxed in such a long time.

Superb views from the cottage. Weather not been too bad but not as hot and sunny as the week before in Wicklow. Plenty to see and do. Enjoyed a couple of Irish coffee- great for warming you up. People very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a good holiday.
