Brenda and Family, May 2018
There has been so much to see, with a lot of it on the doorstep. The Loophead Peninsula is well worth a visit as are the cliff walks at Kilkee. We have enjoyed the variety of scenery, the hospitality and the good food. People have been so welcoming and generous. This cottage is a great base for exploring Clare and for hopping back over to Kerry- our day around the Dingle Peninsula is a highlight.

Angie and Damon, August 2017
A peaceful and comfortable stay, watching the Shannon flowing by. We enjoyed the Olde Brogue Pub (generous portions!), Kilrush (Marina bakeries), Ennis (shops), the Vandeleur Walled Garden and Bistro. Supermarkets in Kilrush are very good ferry shops - good for maps and chocolate! Friendly, helpful people everywhere we went.

Mr Reece, August 2017
The owner was an excellent host. She gave us detailed information about the apartment, told us about places to shop and attractions to visit. There were also brochures, leaflets and books with tourist information which helped us to plan trips. The apartment is well-laid out, with plenty of storage in the kitchen and the bedrooms. It is within walking distance of a good pub that serves food and has live music and close to the ferry terminal for travel to Kerry. It is only a short drive to Kilrush, for supermarkets, shops and the marina, and well-placed to explore visitor attractions in County Clare.

The Savage Party, July 2017
Very friendly and helpful. Lovely setting to explore Ireland.

Bernard and Rosie, June 2017
Warmest of welcomes from the owners and their family. Excellent location for touring Kerry, Limerick, using the Ferry and of course, Clare. Would love to return. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Very friendly owners and excellent accommodation.

Mr Hardy, June 2016
This was our first visit to Ireland, we were greeted by the owner in a very friendly way. The cottage was just as it was shown in the advert. It overlooks the Shannon river and the ferry across to Tarbert is opposite and so convenient for getting to Kerry and Killarney. We used the ferry on a couple of days which saved us an hour or more travelling round each way. We even saw the Dolphins in the estuary. You can easily get to the cliffs of Moher, the Burren and the Aran islands all of which we did. The owner was always helpful and very friendly when we got back.

Betty Woods, June 2016
