The Grace Party, August 2019
A really lovely house in an amazing location. All you have to do is sit and LOOK ! Very well equipped with loads of spare towels, blankets etc. and spotlessly clean. The owners were very helpful and got us more turf for the stove. The teenagers enjoyed Ardmore pier and beach and went diving and horseriding a bit further north. There was only one thing that could have been improved - THE WEATHER, but John couldn't do anything about that. On the beautiful days, or even dry overcast days, its the most relaxing place to be.

Soye fmaily, August 2019
We had a great time chilling out in rural Ireland. The children loved the cow's, sheep and donkeys we meet on are walks. The views from the house are beautiful even on the wettest of days and the owners will give you the warmest of welcomes. Hope to return soon.

Marius, December 2018
Lovely quiet area, nice owners, big well equipped house, fantastic sea and mountain view. New Year party in this house- amazing!!! Thank You!!!

Robinson party, May 2018
The house is larger than it looks form the outside. The views of the bay and islands are beautiful and peaceful. The owners respond quickly to questions or need for assistance with something. House was very clean, beds are comfortable and great location to tour Connemara. Would stay again!

Hardy, July 2017
A very clean, comfortable and characterful self-catering cottage, with lovely welcoming owners. A great pub within easy walking distance and stunning views across the water to The Twelve Bens. Lots of beautiful places to visit, enough to keep 3 teenagers entertained, and gorgeous beaches nearby. Galway is an easy (and essential!) day trip, as are The Aran Islands (via Rossaveel), Omey Island and Kylemore Abbey. And drive The Bog Road - and the road through Lough Inargh (hope I've spelled that right..) Also Joyce's Craft Shop at Recess is definitely worth a visit - if only to say hello to the Connemara Giant..... Oh, and the cottage has a log-burner and large supplies of peat, perfect for toasting your toes after a paddle in the Atlantic. Wonderful place and wonderful people!

The Griffin Family, May 2017
What a lovely, deceptively spacious cottage in an amazing setting overlooking Cashel Bay. Great base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way with breath taking views at every turn and beautiful sunsets. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and their cottage ticked all the boxes and surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed a wonderful week and I have no hesitation recommending this lovely property and this very scenic area.

Murphy, March 2017
A great house, owner very welcoming, fire lighting on arrival and also set to light when we returned after a very wet day oin the hills. Plenty of room for our group of 8. Lovely setting, sea on one side and The Bens on the other.

Gallagher Group, September 2015
Very clean, nicely decorated and well furnished property.

O' Donovan party, September 2015
We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. Everything we needed was on hand. The viiews are amazing. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We have already recommended this house to others and we will definitely be back.

Jarrold Family, July 2015
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic house. The owner, John, was extremely helpful. In a great location and great for biking. Moyrus beach is great for swimming and the nearby village of Roundstone is charming.

Pashinger party, May 2015
One of the nicest cottages that we have had the pleasure to book in 15 years of going to Ireland. Spacious living area, very clean, wonderful view of the rain and the sea from the comfort of your living room window. The Glynsk House restaurant/pub, served fantastic food and beer/wine at the perfect temperature. Recommend especially for a small group(6 people) who want to explore Connemara. Kind and caring owners. They had lit a fire in both fire places for our arrival, but of course there was also central heating.
