The Barry Family, October 2018
If you want a piece of the real Ireland this is a great place to see and experience it. We went at the end of October and it was stunningly beautiful in the soft mists. One can only imagine it's beauty on a fine summers day. The owners were lovely and helpful people who did everything to make our stay really enjoyable. Our kids loved the private beach and the private lake across the road. There are not so many places with one let alone both in less than 50 meters. I would love to have gone fishing but didn't bring my rod. Excellent place.

The Weber-Hagmann Family, October 2017
We stayed as a family with four children. Location and setting are wonderful. Ballyconneely is strategically located to explore Connemara. A warm welcome by the landlord, who lives closeby. Everything was in a good standard and the equipment in the kitchen was above average with plenty of cutlery and dishes. We had a wonderful week and would go again.

Cassidy Family, July 2017
Had a lovely time staying in your house. Enjoyed the views and had a lovely time together playing in the house. The kids especially in the conservatory or the quiet room as they called it! Lovely place, thank you!

The Smith Family, June 2017
This cottage is great if you want a 'get away from it all' holiday. It is quiet, peaceful and in a lovely location, just a few minutes walk from the beach and within easy reach of all of Connemara. A visit to the Smoke House is a must as it a meal at the Connemara Golf Club, excellent food at good prices. Also the local pub/restaurant Keogh's again has good food at reasonable prices. The owners of the cottage are very nice and particularly helpful for advising on places to visit and to tell local tales of the area.

The Allaway family, May 2017
So Peaceful

A lovely place to stay very quiet and in fact on the side of the house to the left from the road it now has a large conservatory and also new a power shower room. There is everything you can possibly need in kitchen utensils and cookware. The beds are comfortable and the sitting room snug. Staying here gives you access to your own beach perfect if you have children and for the elders to sit and enjoy the view. The owner was helpful and approachable if there are any problems.

Fiona and John, October 2016
Thank you both so much for the week here, we've had the most wonderful time, with the beautifully clean air and peace of this place. Thanks again.

Miss Kerr, June 2016
The location of this property was excellent. Such a beautiful area and is a great base from which to see so many wonderful areas.

The Hanlon Family, New Zealand., May 2016
This ia a rustic, comfortable property is just a short walk along a country lane to the sea and it is very quiet. There is a small sunny patio. The owner was helpful with lots of information about the area and lots of booklets of good places to visit. The local pub is a short drive away.

The French Party, May 2016
For our first visit in Ireland, all conditions were there to have a wonderful stay. A lovely, comfortable house in a very nice location.

Mr Stein - Germany, September 2015
We had a relaxed time here, this area offers a lot of holiday activities and the cottage is very cosy. It has everything you need in the kitchen, perfect for self catering! The views around are fabulous.
