The Brackenbridge Family, October 2016
The cottage is situated in the most wonderful location surrounded by hills and golden sand beach. The cottage is perfectly placed to discover the sights of the inishowen peninsula.

The Lazano Party, July 2016
Perfect holiday...

We stayed at the cottage the first week in July and we loved everything about it... The location was perfect, the cottage was clean, cosy and well equipped. We especially loved the log burning fire which we lit every evening. The large enclosed garden was fantastic for our very energetic staffie pup. We visited quite a lot of the beautiful sites of Donegal including The Gap of Mamore, Genveah National Park, The Waterfall, The Famine Village, The Rusty Nail ... Too many to mention. All beautiful in their own way and all worth a visit. The beach at the bottom of the lane was breath taking and spotlessly clean as were all the beaches we visited. The owners were so helpful and friendly, they left us a starter pack which was very useful and even dressed the rooms with little wild flowers which was so homely.... As you can probably tell we loved our trip to the cottage in Clonmany, can't wait to return, Lynnette, Graham and Buster :-)

Excellent Holiday Cottage
We arrived 18/07/16 with our Staffie dog Tasha and on entering we found the cottage spotless warm and conformable, well kitted out and very spacious inside and out and very private, there are great beaches close by, lots of bars restaurants some really nice tea rooms especially beside the waterfall just a few mins walk just as the beach is. The owner is great a great help as well, both he and his wife have a great cottage which suits large and small families, I would come back and certainly recommend to anyone who would also enjoy a great relaxing holiday.

A gem of a cottage. I will book this property again without hesitation, the cottage is perfect for kids as well, would recommend. The property speaks for its self-excellent and the owner is a great help and nothing is a problem.

Home away from home.
So brilliant holiday. Family with two children 9 and 3. Great experience. Location superb. Everything so close. Surroundings can't wish for more. So cosy cottage. As we called - Home away from home. Definitely recommend and will be back

Party who stayed April, 2015, April 2015
Excellent all round!! Stayed here last week, just wanted a convenient relaxing break.
The property was great, the rooms spacious and the open fire was lovely and made the evenings cosy!
The weather was fantastic and we were able to take advantage of the beautiful beach within walking distance and the pub close by had a great atmosphere.
The owners were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We definitely plan to return and recommend this property to family, friends or anyone looking for a carefree break.

I would like to say that everything was fine with my recent holiday in Clonmany. The property was clean and tidy and very relaxing and quiet, Mr McGuickan was very helpful as were Imagine Ireland. Thank you

Olphert, April 2014
We had the most relaxing holiday ever. The cottage is traditional in style, clean and very homely with everything you need. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with a choice of local beaches within walking distance or by short drive. The scenery is breathtaking but what we loved most was the peace and quiet. A wonderful experience all round.

Relaxing and Revitalising. We recently stayed at this cottage for one week and we loved every minute of it. The cottage itself has everything you need and is modern in style. The surroundings are breathtaking scenery and we enjoyed the peace and quiet the most. It is not far from the village of Ballyliffen or Clonmany where we stocked up on supplies. We enjoyed the local beaches the most, Tullagh Bay, Lenan Beach, Trawbega Bay, Five Finger Strand to name but a few. We also recommend a trip through Mamore Gap which is just a few kilometres from the cottage, where the views are breathtaking. In the evening we lit the woodburner and just relaxed in front of the tv or played games. We would also recommend the local chippy in Ballyliffen where the fish and chips are delicious. All in all a wonderful holiday where we will be returning to again in the future.

This was a traditional Irish cottage with loads of character, with everything you could possibly need for a good holiday. Comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. Also it was dog friendly, which was a big plus. Location was delightful with any amount of accessible sandy beaches. Imagine Ireland very friendly and helpful. Great service and a very good website.

We have just had the most relaxing break. The cottage its self was so comfortable, with great views, peace and quiet but with the village nearby for all we needed. The area is great for touring Inshowen, we visited the Doagh Famine Village, which was very enjoyable. I could recommend this cottage highly and hope to return soon for another break.

John and Kitty, August 2011
We had a wonderful time. It was indeed just a short stroll from a fantastic beach which was so quiet and unspoilt. Another short stroll brought you to The Rusty Nail-the local pub. We were made to feel so welcome by the proprietor that we felt like one of the locals by the end of the week. The cottage itself was wonderful. Everything was spotless and on the few occasions that we needed to put on the central heating it was warm and cosy in half an hour. We had never been to Donegal before and we were bowled over by the frienldliness of everyone. The propery owner couldn't have been more helpful. Well done.

The Donovan Family, August 2011
Imagine Ireland were friendly, helpful people who made everything easy. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and with great views. Lovel quiet area but village nearby with everything we needed.

Andy, August 2011
I have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday at this cottage. The cottage was very clean and contained everything that we could have asked for. The decor was modern and there was enough room for four adults, one toddler, one baby and one sausage dog. The views of the mountains and the sea were amazing and we were really very sorry to be coming home. The Rusty Nail Pub is brilliant and the food there is excellent. The beach is beautiful and is only a short walk away. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The enclosed garden is great for kids and dogs. We all had a great time and hope to return. Thank You."
