Glengarriff is a small village with a handful of shops, a Spar, a food market, three bars, three restaurants, two cafes and a seasonal ice cream parlour. There is also a playground and a pharmacy.
Bantry is a thriving town with a wide variety of shops, a SuperValu and Lidl, an abundance of bars and restaurants, two banks, a cinema, a post office and three pharmacies. There is also a market place open every Friday.
