The village bistro is just two doors up from the cottage and there are 2 pubs nearby. Castletownbere has a weekly farmers market and offers ample fishing opportunities.

Kenmare is 26 miles. Its an interesting town full of character and colour, with long winding streets providing the backdrop for farmers' markets, artists' galleries, lovely little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland!
