This comfortable cottage is located on the scenic Sheep's Head Peninsula, 4 miles from Durrus and 8 miles from Bantry town. Tastefully furnished and fully equipped, it enjoys wonderful views of Dunmanus Bay. There is a fully enclosed garden, with rear stream closed off with a gate. The area is ideal for cycling and walking, with a network of carefully marked trails and beautiful vistas at every corner, but no steep climbs.

Bantry is a busy seaside town with lots of shops, pubs, restaurants, hotels, and cinema. Restaurants include O'Connors Seafood Restaurant, the Fish Kitchen, the Stuffed Olive, the Brick Oven and the Bantry Bay Hotel.
Sheep's Head: The community here is recognised for its commitment to responsible tourism, and the peninsula was named as a European Destination of Excellence for Sustainable Tourism in 2009. In March 2015, the Sheep's Head won Silver at the Irish Responsible Tourism Awards, and is long listed for 'Best Destination' in the World Responsible Tourism Awards 2015.
The peninsula is popular with walkers, and the Sheep's Head Way is an 88 km long-distance trail which follows old tracks and roads around the peninsula from Bantry to the headland and back. The trail is very accessible and is well signposted.

Durrus (4 miles) is a key staging post on the Wild Atlantic Way route that leads from Donegal to Kinsale and the home of award-winning Durrus Farmhouse Cheese.
