Miltown Malbay is a small town with four shops, nine pubs and two restaurants.
Spanish Point is a small seaside village with four restaurants, two hotels, a golf course and a beautiful beach popular for swimming and surfing.
~ The Willie Clancy Summer School is a major traditional music, song and dance festival held annually in Miltown Malbay. It usually takes place from the first Saturday in July and runs a week with instrument and dance classes, lectures and workshops.
~ Clare beaches are renowned for surfing. Lahinch has many surf schools to help you get the hang of it and the nearby beach in Spanish Point is peaceful and relatively quiet for you to practice.
~ The Cliffs of Moher have been labelled one of Ireland's top tourist attractions in 2019 and to see why, you need to experience it for yourself. Around 30 minutes' drive from the property are the breathtaking cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for more than 350 million years.
~ Take a boat from Kilrush or Carrigaholt along the River Shannon towards the Atlantic Ocean on a specialised tour for dolphin watching! In a Special Area of Conservation, it is a feeding and breeding ground for bottlenose dolphins - you may even be lucky enough to spot a calf!
