This is a comfortable newly renovated bungalow which enjoys fantastic views of the unique Burren mountain landscape. A popular base for walkers, hikers, botonists and archaeologists and a perfect base to discover the Clare coastline, Alliween and Doolin caves, The Dolmen, Perfume factory, Cliffs of Moher or venture into Galway and the sites of Connemara.

Carran has a pub/restaurant that is open seasonally from Easter to September that has live music sessions every Friday through the season.
Kinvarra village has a shop, pub, and restaurant. Nearby Ennis has a number of banks and pharmacies and a greater variety of shops.
'The Burren', which is approximately 1500 hectares with a mixture of; limestone pavements, calcareous grassland, hazel scrub, ash/hazel woodland, turloughs, lakes, petrifying springs, cliffs and fen; open to the public, with a variety of trails through the area.

The Burren in Bloom Festival; Held during the month of May. Demonstrations, talks and open gardens, some events are ticketed and booking in advance is necessary.
Russell Memorial Weekend; traditional music festival held in Doolin, on the last full weekend in February each year.
Clare Burren Marathon Challenge; Held at the end of May. The route is road, green road and trail, across the Burren. Full, half or mini Marathon, starting at Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare. No dogs are allowed at this event.
Matchmaking festival in Lisdoonvarna, annually held in September. Tickets should be bought in advance for live music and dancing events.
